Responsible stewardship of our environment

Individual skill development and tailored feedback

Cultural, racial, and economic diversity of its students

Integrity, truthfulness, honor and respect

Our Honor Code

All areas of student life and behavior are governed by the Honor System, whose purpose is to provide the growing, maturing student with on-going developmental experiences leading to and culminating in a firm, secure value system. The Honor System is based upon and not limited to the

Honor Code: “I will not lie, cheat nor steal, nor tolerate anyone who does.”

We want the Honor System, not just a Code, to become an integral part of The Academy experience. Ideally, the system is a constant reminder of the highest aspirations of The Academy’s Mission Statement. We wish to foster in every student a deeply felt sense of self-worth based upon individual responsibility, a feeling of pride in one’s own achievements, and a feeling of dignity for one’s self, and an abiding respect for one’s peers.
